Liliana Kligman-Roitman
CEO / Producer
Liliana Kligman-Roitman, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Visual and Media Arts from Emerson College (Boston, MA) and a Master’s Degree in Digital Media (specialization in Film and Video Production) from Northeastern University (Boston, MA.) . Founder/CEO of Cafe Oscuro Films and Executive Producer of feature films "Dark Awakening" (2015) ,"The Creatress" (2018) and short film "Love Afterlife" (2017) also co-owner and producer of fitness brand "Fit As A Pro" with Lauren Sesselmann.

During her time at Emerson College, Liliana earned a place in the honor student ‘s Dean’s List in every semester and as such became a member of the GoldKey Honor Society. As well, Liliana graduated summa cum laude and was awarded the Outstanding Senior Award for the 2007 Class.

While in college, Liliana wrote, produced and edited over 20 freelance projects in Boston and the New England Area. From 2003 to 2005, she was the Junior Producer and Editor of the Boston Irish Film Festival where she had the honor of helping with the event’s logistics to award the writer of “Hotel Rwanda”, Terry George and the acclaimed actress, Fionnula Flanagan. She also edited a series of videos for the Department of French Studies for the Boston University, which appeared in the play "Culture.com: A Tribute to Mr. John Malkovich", who attended as a guest of honor. Liliana spent her last semester at Emerson doing an internship assisting the Senior Production Manager at Lifetime Television in Los Angeles working under the command of the VP of Programing and the VP of Reality Shows.

During the internship, she had the opportunity to analyze scripts, attend to casting sessions and meetings, and understand the invitation process for films, working with great artists such as Halle Berry.

After graduating from college, Liliana moved to Los Angeles and started wor king as a casting and production assistant for the hispanic television show “Secretos” and after a few months, she became one of the producers and writers of the show. In 2009, she started her Master‘s in Digital Media from Northeastern University in Boston being teacher's assistant for the Video Production class, teaching students about editing software used in the television and film industry. Liliana graduated with honors in 2011.
